My Ultimate Goal

I don’t have one ideal career path, but I have many options. One of them includes me being the owner of a company because It’s my goal in life to own a company and be able to make it grow. I know this is a little cheesy but my grandpa who passed away last year always told me that owning his business made him fulfilled and happy in his life. By owning a business, you do a lot of different jobs and I think that it would be perfect for me since I like doing different stuff. It is different every day and I can never get bored.

Another career goal would be to work in the public, I have two choices for next year which are, elementary school teaching and hairdressing. I know these are very different fields, but they have all three of my requirements for my future job. My main requirements are to be helping others, to have a creative side and to be moving all day. I know I cannot sit at a desk and must move and do something mentally challenging to be truly fulfilled. I know that with these jobs, I can use my graphic design skills to help me improve in these fields. For example, as a teacher, there are a lot of learning tools you can create that can help the children learn visually. Also, in hairdressing, you are self-employed, which is why you need graphic design skills to promote yourself.

Another career goal would be to have my own graphic design company. I want to have a small business where I can create a cordial environment for the employees to come to work every day. I also want to provide the best service possible to my clients and coach them through the importance of branding in their company.  I’ll also offer photography services because I love doing this. Not all clients have good photography that represents their company and offering this service would just improve their graphic design needs.
